Dance Instructors must be lifelong learners as more intricacies and knowledge are revealed about Ukrainian dance both as an art form and a crucial component of a remarkable culture. Professional development and other learning opportunities equip them with the tools they need to help students reach their full potential as dancers and to provide leadership within the Ukrainian community as preservers of the culture.

UDIC brings together Ukrainian dancers and dance instructors to develop a greater understanding of Ukrainian dance lexicon, Ukrainian ethnography, as well as other topics related to the art form.
